Profile	Zypcom, Inc. develops, manufactures and markets hardware and software products for wide-area networking data communications applications. The company was founded in 1991.
Marketing Strategy	Zypcom's product development focuses on data communications markets, specifically the analog dial-up, analog lease-line and ISDN BRI segments. Zypcom's strategy is to build products for networking professionals that offer the best price/performance relationship. Zypcom's exceptional modems are designed to deliver the lowest overall cost of operation. Zypcom's products are ideally-suited to demanding applications normally found in large corporations, telephone companies, educational institutions and government agencies.
Distribution	Zypcom distributes its products through a channel of select domestic and international distributors/VARs. Zypcom distributors have a data communications focus demonstrated by the product lines they represent. Zypcom distributors have a strong reseller focus or are sellers of WAN, LAN and internetworking solutions to end-users. Zypcom does not distribute via the traditional "box-mover" multinational distributors. Distribution relationships are as important to Zypcom as is the quality of our products.
Product Line	Zypcom's current product line consists of SNMP network managed corporate-class high-speed analog modems in standalone, internal and rackmount form factors. Zypcom supports the latest modem standards-56Kbps (V.90/X2), 33.6/28.8Kbps (V.34+/V.34), 19.2Kbps (V.32terbo) as well as lower speeds. Moreover, our products incorporate the latest value-added features -- SNMP management, 56Kbps, remote control, fax-mail, voice-mail, speaker-phone and video-phone applications. The SX-Series product line is an external family (33.6K, 19.2K, 14.4Kbps) that operates on dial-up, 2-wire and 4-wire leased lines. The C-Series and L-Series lines consist of external and internal 56Kbps or 33.6Kbps dial-up only modems. Our rackmount modem family consists of the RX-Series (dial-up/2-& 4-WLL -- 33.6K, 19.2K, 14.4Kbps models) and RE-Series (dial-up/2-WLL -- 33.6Kbps) product lines.

Software: Dial-up SNMP network management system (ZSNMP). Data communications and facsimile software for Windows.
