    From the opening string, type "Alt-O" for Options. Select "Port/Modem" setup. Select the COM port that you would like to modify.

    INIT STRING:

    Hit "Alt-S" for "Setup Modem" and then "Alt-I" to change the initialization string. Note that the init string does not have the preceding "AT" command, it only lists the parameters, such as: "&FX3&C1&D2S0=0".
