After installation, you will have to use the "MODEMUTL" program to modify the initialization string. Syntax: "MODEMUTL B 9600" to change the baud rate to 9600, which will also erase the current init string, and then "MODEMUTL C AT&FE0Q0&C1&D2S0=0" to change the init string.

Exit Windows and run the "ASSIST" program found in the directory that Prodigy is installed into. Select "Expert Mode" instead of "Continue". Hit "OK" or "ESC" when the equipment list pops up. Hit "F5" or highlight "Modem and Phone F5". Modem speed should be "96", modem port is whatever COM port they are on, modem type should be "3", modem command should be: "AT&FE0Q0&C1&D2S0=0".
