    Winfax 7.0 uses Windows 95 mdmzyp.inf file.

    Do not use High Speed Compression 2D in Class 2 mode.

    In Winfax 7.0 go to
    Setup/Modem/Properties/General/FaxModem Type - set Class 2
    Setup/Modem/Properties/Fax/High Speed Compression (2D) - DO NOT Check
    Then Click on Apply, Click on OK, Click on OK

    Note:
    Winfax uses hardware handshake in Class 1 and
    software handshake in Class 2
